The Inbetweeners (2008-2010)
created and written by Damon Beesley and Iain Morris
directed by Gordon Anderson, Ben Palmer, Damon Beesley, and Iain Morris
A group of awkward friends who have trouble relating to other people, fantasize constantly about girls they’d like to shag, and find themselves bonding the way uncool people do when they realize they are hopelessly uncool. No, I’m not talking about me and my mates Stocatto and The Stillness, although we certainly fit the bill. I am talking about the British sitcom The Inbetweeners, in which four high school friends find themselves trying to survive bullies, clueless teachers, paralyzing crushes, and a multitude of embarrassing moments on their way to becoming adults.
It’s reminiscent of Freaks and Geeks (1999-2000), but a whole lot dirtier and tons of fun. So if you haven’t seen it yet, join the Pussay Patrol and remember: If you really like a chick, vomiting over her little brother is probably not a great idea.

P.S. Skip the two movies made after the series ended. While occasionally funny, they are not at the level of the show.
